Becon reporters investigate matters of genuine public interest. If you have information, documents, or a story you believe deserves scrutiny, we want to hear from you. We take the protection of sources seriously — your safety matters to us.
Encrypted Email
For sensitive tips, use an encrypted email service such as ProtonMail and contact us at tips@becon.news. Do not use your work or personal email for sensitive matters.
Signal
Signal provides end-to-end encrypted messaging. Contact our investigations desk via Signal for documents or ongoing sensitive communications. Signal numbers are available on request from our reporting team.
SecureDrop
SecureDrop is an open-source whistleblower submission system. It is the most secure method for sharing documents or information that could put you at risk. Ask our editors about access.

For non-sensitive tips and story leads, email tips@becon.news directly. Include as much context as possible and we will follow up.
